I have been a basketmaker for 10 years. Putting into practice everything I learned from my mentors, Dad and Sally Goymer.
I spend my days growing, cutting, preparing & weaving English willow. Creating willow baskets, sculptures and commissions. I also teach, passing down this heritage craft to others who wish to learn & develop, as I do.
I specialise in making handmade ‘made to measure‘ willow baskets, and installations which, as well as being sustainable, stand the test of time.
I see myself as a conduit for my craft, perfecting techniques & passing on skills from one generation to the next, leaving our craft in a better place than when I started.
